Overview
Thanks to the generosity and Catholic Legacy of Dr. Steve Toner, the Catholic Community Foundation of Southwest Florida proudly offers the “ Dr. Steven Toner Math Award Scholarship” a one time approximately $1,500 scholarship to one college-bound financially needy student graduating from St. John Neumann High School in Naples Florida with an interest in pursuing a career in a STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field.
Students are nominated by the administration of St. John Neumann High School.
Criteria
- Completion of all courses required for graduation
- Acceptance into an accredited college of university
- Strong academic performance in and interest in mathematics
- Interest in pursing a career in a STEM field.
*Members or relatives of the Catholic Community Foundation staff, Board of Directors, Scholarship Committee, or Steven Toner are ineligible to apply.
