Scholarship Purpose
The Catholic Community Foundation is proud to offer the Frank M. Bertoni & Beverly Cimini-Bertoni Scholarship Fund to students pursuing an education in nursing, a technical field, or other vocational program.
Award: A three-year renewable scholarship, worth approximately $5,000 for tuition, books, fees, and housing expenses. This scholarship can be renewed annually for up to 3 years, provided students maintain a 2.0 GPA, with a total value of $15,000.
Eligibility:
- Completion of all courses required for graduation from High School in the State of Florida, or received a High School Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Acceptance into an accredited state college, community college, vocational/technical school, or nursing program
- Maintained a minimum unweighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or greater while in high school
- Student is pursing an education in nursing, a technical field, or other vocational program

*Applications open December 4, 2026, and are due March 1, 2026, by 11:59 PM.
Application Instructions:
- Use the “Application” link at the top right of the page to access the application or click here.
- Complete the Application and Financial Needs Assessment.
- Upload required documents to the application including your completed high school transcripts (showing UNWEIGHTED GPA and volunteer hours), most recent FAFSA form with your SAI (Student Aid Index), and proof of acceptance into an accredited college or university.
- Submit and certify the Application when fully completed. Once submitted, no changes can be made.
