The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships to help defray the total educational expenses for financially needy students attending a Diocese of Venice in Florida Catholic School. Each year, the Diocese of Venice in Florida Education Department shall select the Diocese of Venice Catholic School(s) to receive the annual scholarship(s) based on need and the amount available for distribution from the Fund.

An endowment fund provides a source of annual income to the Catholic entity of your choice. Endowments are designed to function in perpetuity, because the original gift amount (the principal) is invested and the earnings are used to provide long-term financial support to a Parish, school, program or the ministry about which you care most. Once established, anyone can make additional contributions to the fund in any dollar amount.
Many endowment funds are created through gifts from wills or trusts, however, a significant number of donors choose to fund their endowments while they are still living so they can see the impact of their gifts. There are numerous ways to fund an endowment with the Foundation including gifts of cash, securities, property, distributions from retirement accounts and more.

The exclusive purpose of the Fund is to provide postsecondary scholarships for individuals within the Diocese of Venice in Florida who are either students graduating from Catholic, private, and public high schools or adult learners pursuing a postsecondary education. it is the donor’s requirement that the scholarship recipients be interested in pursuing an education in nursing, a technical field, or other vocational program.

The exclusive purpose of the Fund is to establish a long-term Catholic legacy, which will provide support for the most pressing needs within the Diocese of Venice in Florida. Each year, Catholic Parishes, Missions, Schools, Programs and Ministries within the Diocese of Venice (including the Diocese of Venice itself) can submit grant applications to the CCF to request support for critical needs that otherwise might go unfunded.
