St. Thomas More Endowment Fund

Purpose of this Fund:

The exclusive purpose of the Fund is to establish a long-term Catholic legacy, which will provide support for the general needs of St. Thomas More Parish in Sarasota, Florida.

Why Support an Endowment Fund?

An endowment fund provides a source of annual income to the Catholic entity of your choice. Endowments are designed to function in perpetuity, because the original gift amount (the principal) is invested and the earnings are used to provide long-term financial support to a Parish, school, program or the ministry about which you care most. Barbara J. Diehl Scholarship Fund – Epiphany Catholic School

Purpose of this Fund:

The exclusive purpose of the Fund is to s to provide scholarships to help defray the total educational expenses for financially needy students attending Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School in Venice, Florida. If at some point in the future Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School ceases to exist, this fund will support scholarships for students attending other Catholic Schools within the Diocese of Venice in Florida

St. Katharine Drexel Endowment Fund

Purpose of this Fund:

The exclusive purpose of the Fund is to establish a long-term Catholic legacy, which will provide support for specific Parish initiatives including the Parish’s support for Catholic Schools and poor Parishes/Missions within the Diocese of Venice in Florida. In addition, distributions from the Fund can be used for capital investments (improvements and betterments made to Parish property, buildings, or equipment), major repairs or maintenance, reduction of debt, and other extraordinary* expenses at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Cape Coral, Florida.

Father Vincent James Sheehy Respect Life Scholarship Fund – Cardinal Mooney

Purpose of this Fund:

The exclusive purpose of the Fund is to provide partial scholarships for financially needy practicing Catholic students attending Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Sarasota, Florida who are involved, along with their families, in a Respect Life program or ministry. If at some point in the future Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School ceases to exist, this fund will support scholarships for qualified students attending other Catholic High Schools within the Diocese of Venice in Florida.

The James B. Tinnin Charitable Restricted Use Fund

Purpose of this Fund:

The exclusive purpose of the Fund is to support faith-based initiatives of the Catholic religion with a focus on those Catholic entities that answer the call of Christ in Matthew 25:35-36 “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.”
