One of the vital missions of the Catholic Church within the Diocese of Venice is to infuse a spirit of evangelization into all corners of life – in homes, parishes, schools, prisons, workplaces, and all of society – so that every person in the Diocese can draw closer to Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church. Evangelization involves proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ (evangelization) as well as defending the truths of the Faith (apologetics).
These goals are accomplished through Men’s & Women’s Conferences, promotion of bible studies, retreats, marriage preparation, marriage enhancement seminars, Prison Outreach, Courage meetings and more.
