Vocations

The Diocese of Venice Office of Vocations is committed to creating a culture of vocations throughout the Diocese where everyone prays, thinks, and acts to nurture, encourage, and invite vocations. While embracing an understanding of all vocations, the Diocese is dedicated to encouraging and supporting young men in their formation to the priesthood and those women who express an interest in the consecrated or religious life. Currently, the Diocese of Venice has 17 men in seminary formation, whose total costs are over $65,000 each year per student.

Many donors have chosen to support these young men and women by creating lasting Catholic Legacies through the Catholic Community Foundation.
